Abstract: Popular ad hoc routing protocol normally uses the minimum number of hop routes or shortest routes for sending information. These routes tends to contain long-range links, therefore routes frequently fail and are not reliable. In this paper we propose, ”Signal Strength Based Routing for Wireless Ad-Hoc Networks”. It uses signal strengths on the multi hop to identify stable route from source to destination in an ad hoc networks. A stable route helps to reduce control packets overhead during route maintenance and avoids route interruptions.
