An intelligent sales forecasting system through fuzzy neural network

Proposes an intelligent sales forecasting system which consists of four parts: (1) data collection, (2) general pattern model, (3) special pattern model, and (4) decision integration. A novel fuzzy logic which is capable of learning (fuzzy neural network) is developed to capture the experts' knowledge for promotion. Model evaluation results indicate that the proposed system can more accurately perform than the conventional statistical method and single ANN.
