Drift compensated amplifier circuits †
R. N. BARNES, Bryan L. Hart · International Journal of Electronics · 1972
The technique of employing one operational amplifier to cancel, or partially cancel, the voltage offset and drift effects of its neighbour on the same semiconductor wafer is discussed in. relation to some typical operational amplifier configurations appropriate to instrumentation and measurement systems. It is shown that the drift performance obtainable (ypically less than 1 0 μv/°c referred to the circuit input terminals) is comparable with that obtained using costlier and less reliable schemes such as those employing chopper stabilization, or temperature controlled substrates.
