Drawing Graphs with MetaPost

This paper describes a graph-drawing package that has been implemented as an extension to the MetaPost graphics language. MetaPost has a powerful macro facility for implementing such exten-sions. There are also some new language features that support the graph macros. Existing features for generating and manipulating pictures allow the user to do things that would be dicult to achieve in a stand-alone graph package. 11
