Design of IIR filters using a new transformation based on non-Taylor discretization

A differential.equation is replaced by difference equation in discrete systems based on Taylor series approximation. Here a superior non-Taylor approximation is used to develop a new transformation and IIR filters have been designed. The performances of such filters have been compared with those based on bilinear transformation.
