A fast algorithm for the blind separation of digital co-channel signals

We propose a fast sequential-estimation algorithm for separating multiple co-channel digital signals using an antenna array with unknown array response. We present simulation results comparing speed and BER performance with an existing fast simultaneous estimation algorithm, ILSP. The new algorithm proves to be faster with only a modest degradation in BER. In addition, convergence speed is very robust with respect to additive noise.
