Adding Usage Cues to Web Applications

John Paul Mueller · Apress eBooks · 2003

Just as desktop applications benefit from the usage cues, you’ll find that users of Web applications enjoy them too. Usage cues help the user understand your application better. A good set of usage cues can help direct the user through the sequence you want them to follow when working with a Web application. In fact, the whole idea of flow is essential for Web applications because users often have to decide how to work with a Web application based exclusively on the cues you provide. These keywords were added by machine and not by the authors. This process is experimental and the keywords may be updated as the learning algorithm improves.
