Quicklook: a content-based image retrieval system with learning capabilities

We present a prototype system that allows the user to query an image database and progressively refine the system's response to his query by indicating the relevance, or non-relevance of the retrieved items. Tests performed on different databases have shown that the system is, even in its present prototype stage, already very versatile.
