Software Reuse Metrics: Measuring Component Independence and its applicability in Software Reuse

In this paper we have enumerated the various metrics of software to evaluate the reusability of the modules. We now introduce a new metric for evaluating the independence of a software component which will in turn accesses the degree of reusability of that component.
