A Note on the Use of Logical Computers to Determine the most Efficient Method of using Factory Machines
Alan Rose · Mathematical Proceedings of the Cambridge Philosophical Society · 1960
In this note we shall give two extensions of the results of (2) concerning the economic use of factory machines. Familiarity with (2) will be assumed and the same notation will be used. We shall show, first, that the number of decision elements required for the solution of the problem can be reduced considerably, and secondly, that the computer will also give the solutions to certain related problems.*
