This paper is aiming at the CBQ-based call admission control (CAC) for a WCDMA downlink in a multiservice context. A hierarchical link-sharing structure is used to express multiple link-sharing constraints on a radio downlink. All sharing connections on the Link are assigned to one of the leaf classes; the inferior classes are used to designate guidelines about bow 'excess' transmission power should be allocated. By fully exploiting the advantages of sharing 'excess' transmission power occurring at every inferior class in the hierarchical Link-sharing structure, the proposed CAC algorithm greatly improves the system performance.
