Adaptive Blind Signal Separation for Multiuser Communications : An Information-theoretic Approach
Seungjin Choi · Journal of Electrical Engineering and Information Science · 1999
This paper presents a new computationally efficient adaptive algorithm for blind beamforming and signal separation for multiuser communications, which is able to recover the narrowband source signals in the presence of cochannel interference without using training signals. A new algorithm is derived from an information-theoretic approach. Natural gradient adaptation is adopted to derive an efficient algorithm. Extensive computer simulation results confirm the validity and high performance of theoretical results.
