Performance of MFSK slow frequency-hopped SSMA system with equal-gain diversity

Wing‐Kin Ma, Peter Edward Crouch · 2003

A slow frequency-hopped spread-spectrum multiple access; communication system with M-ary frequency shift keying (MFSK) modulation is studied. A closed-form expression for the symbol error probability of equal-gain diversity reception is obtained. It is assumed that the system operates through a frequency selective slow fading Rayleigh channel coupled with other user interference and additive white Gaussian noise. Numerical results show that the system performance can be significantly improved by means of equal-gain diversity.>
