The NAP (N-Dimensional Array Processor) Extension to Tcl
Harvey Davies · 2002
is a loadable extension of Tcl that provides a conve- nient, powerful and ecient facility for processing data in the form of n-dimensional arrays. Special facilities are pro- vided for data based on n-dimensional grids, where the di- mensions correspond to continuous spatial coordinates and values are dened using multidimensional linear interpola- tion. There are interfaces to the HDF and netCDF le for- mats commonly used for such data, especially in Earth sci- ences such as oceanography and meteorology.
