On the redundancy of modified Lempel-Ziv Parsing Algorithm for Markovian source

Plotnik, Weinberger and Ziv's state dependent version of Lempel-Ziv incremental parsing algorithm is analyzed for Markovian source and in particular the first order expected redundancy is obtained. The result is compared with an experiment.
