A preliminary practice in mappling service requirements to executable service flows

Gathering and understanding what the user need is one of the most important things in the service creation lifecycle. We firstly discuss the difference between the service requirements and the traditional software requirement. Then we propose the service requirement refinement method by decompose the goal of the users. Once the sub-goals are defined, they can be mapping directly into related service template. Users can instantiate the templates into service flows by fill the related parameters and define the control flows. At last, the template can be translated into WS-BPEL directly, which can be executed by related execution engine. Some preliminary practices on these methods are shown at the end of this paper to illustrate the feasibility of the methods.
