Architectural exploration of filtering stages in the transmit path of a GSM audio codec

This paper presents the architectural exploration and implementation of bandpass filter in the transmit path of audio codec complying with GSM standard. An efficient implementation method of transmit path is suggested based on the area, speed and power. The system operations are presented and the simulation results are reported.
