A network-based software distribution system for smaller organizations

Software distribution has been and continues to be an ongoing problem, for both internal and external distribution. CD-ROMs, the current distribution media of choice for many organizations, can become unusable due to repeated use due to damage or soiling. This paper reports on a successful effort to deploy a network-based software distribution system within a relatively small college.
