STIMULUS CONTROL IN DISCRIMINATION LEARNING

Following go/no go discrimination training, hypotheses can be made about the stimuli which control responding and the underlying factors upon which such control is dependent. The roles of generalization tests and tests to ascertain the operation of response suppression (inhibition) are assessed for their relevance to these hypotheses.
