Proposal for Frame Structure of Optical Channel Transport Unit Employing LDPC Codes for 100 Gb/s FEC

We propose an OTU4V frame structure for 100 Gb/s transport networks using concatenated LDPC(9216,7936) + RS(992,956) codes with soft decision decoding. Example implementation for transponders and the expected performance is discussed.
