A New Fabric of Dynamic NOC for Communication in Reconfigurable Devices
Pan Jing-wei, Bo Yan · 2009
A new paradigm full-connect dynamic networks on chip (FC-DYNOC), which supports the communication among modules dynamically placed on a reconfigurable device at runtime is presented in this paper. Based on the cluster theory, this structure increased the number of connections between router and process element, and the PE has the ability to select the source and the destination router for transmitting and receiving the packets. Finally, by OPNET simulation software, Compared with the DYNOC, the average end-to-end delay is shortened by 27%, and throughput is raised by 35%.
