Seeking Mathematical Models for Skilled Actions
Peter H. Greene · Biomechanics · 1969
We wish to understand perception and skilled action in man or machine. The investigation, of which this chapter summarizes a preliminary part, reveals some new mathematical problems that may be important in studying the same systems that other persons are already studying quite competently from another viewpoint. This paper contains an explanation of the area in which these problems lie, and the reasons why they seem important.
