The Communication & Broadcasting Satellite(CBS) Transponder Testing by EGSE

This paper represents a Communication & Broadcasting Satellite(CBS) transponder RF performance tested by the Electrical Ground Support Equipment(EGSE). The CBS Engineering Qualification Model(EQM) payload was developed for communication and broadcasting service over the Korea peninsula by the ETRI in Korea. The CBS payload is consists of Ku and Ka band transponders and each antenna. The EGSE was developed for RF performance testing of CBS transponders. The test results of CBS transponder show that major RF performance parameters were within the specifications.
