Similarity Measure of Interval-Valued Fuzzy Sets and Application to Pattern Recognition

In this paper, we investigate the concept of similarity measure of interval fuzzy sets, propose some formulas to calculate similarity measure of interval-valued fuzzy sets for finite and continuous universal set and apply them to pattern recognition.
