It is observed that, whenever a target enters a shadowed area, object tracking algo- rithms fail. To overcome that kind of problems, various methods are produced to find and remove shadows on images. In this paper a different model, which compensate both contrast and illumination for shadows, is developed. By applying this model on images containing shadows, corresponding shadow-free im- ages are obtained and presented.
