Survivability for Wireless Sensor Network: Model, Evaluation and Experiment

In this paper we focus on the survivability of wireless sensor network and develop a model to evaluate the tradeoffs between the cost of defense mechanisms for wireless sensor network and the resulting expected survivability after a network attack. We demonstrate the model through simulations its effectiveness in mitigating such attacks. Our analysis of the impact of these attacks versus the adversary's effort gives insights into their relative strengths, their interaction and their importance when analyze wireless sensor network.
