Early Performance Evaluation of the Cray X1 at Oak Ridge National Laboratory

In this paper, we describe our initial performance evaluation of the system, including microbenchmark data quantifying processor, memory, and network performance, and kernel data quantifying the impact of different approaches to using the system. 1
