Abstract: This paper aims at investigating the integration of structured data into a semi-structured environment. In particular, it introduces the Cyclic Structure Converter (CSC) system that performs this task. In CSC, correspondence assertions and integration rules provide the adequate intelligence to reconcile the (possible) heterogeneous semantics relative to involved information sources. CSC has also the capability to filter and process only the relevant operational data.
