Applying SOA to intelligent transportation system

Shanghai Transportation Information Service Application Grid (STISAG), an intelligent transportation system (ITS), is used to deal with the serious traffic jam in the city. It's based on service-oriented architecture (SOA), Grid and Web service technology. The system design and some key technical problems are discussed in this paper. The content in this paper not only gives a case study for SOA, but also provides a new and effective solution for ITS.
