Sensor scheduling with active and image-based sensors for maneuvering targets
M. Karan, V. Krishnamurthy · 2003
We consider the problem of sensor scheduling between an active and passive sensor in tar- get tracking. The target's dynamics is modelled as a jump Markov linear system. The active sensor yields conventional measurements (position and velocity of the target), the passive sensor is an imager yielding information about the orientation of the target. The scheduling problem is formulated as a stochastic control problem - and a one step ahead scheduling algorithm is presented.
