Adaptive array utilising improved spatial averagingtechnique

A further development of spatial smoothing is proposed based on the spatial averaging of the covariance matrices obtained by the subarrays. The proposed averaging technique uses spatial smoothing with some weighting, i.e. it is assumed that each subarray has additional weights.
