Thermistors—a simple means of getting accurate readings of temperature

Jim Jamieson · Electronics Education · 1990

If a thermistor is wired to a series resistor to make a potential divider network then by careful choice of resistor it is possible to design a system which has a linear transfer function between the incoming temperature signal and the outgoing voltage signal. This technique is explained and illustrated.
