Parallelization of a genetic algorithm for image restoration and its performance analysis

The parallelization of a genetic algorithm for image restoration on a multiprocessor computing system is presented and its performance is evaluated in a multi-workstation environment. The results show a significant reduction of computing time due to the parallelism.
