Schuyler Quackenbush, Adam Lindsay · IEEE Transactions on Circuits and Systems for Video Technology · 2001

This paper gives an overview of the MPEG-7 audio standard, in terms of the applications it might support, its structure, the process by which it was developed, and its specific descriptors and description schemes.
