Minicomputers and Microprogramming: A General Approach.

Giuseppe Fantauzzi · Defense Technical Information Center (DTIC) · 1971

The use of microprogramming techniques is considered as an approach to meet the needs to be faced in minicomputer architecture. A computation model is described though to design minicomputers according to the microprogramming philosophy. The reasons for such an approach are discussed and its advantages are pointed out.
