A new high-resolution EEG technique based on finite resistance network model
Zhan Wang, Fusheng Yang · 2003
A new numerical solution of high-resolution EEG derived from scalp potential distribution has been proposed. By converting a field problem of a volume conductor into an equivalent one of an electrical circuit i.e. the finite resistance network, the proposed technique significantly facilitates the computation of the cortical potential. Simulation results indicate that this method substantially improves the spatial resolution of the scalp potential with a trivial computational load compared to other numerical high-resolution EEG algorithms.
