Total Dominator Colorings in Caterpillars

Let G be a graph without isolated vertices. A total dominator coloring of a graph G is a proper coloring of G with the extra property that every vertex in G properly dominates a color class. In this paper we determine the total dominator chromatic number in caterpillars.
