A new discounting evidence combination method based on classification of decision-making

The D-S evidence theory is an important information fusion method at the decision level. A novel evide nce combination method is proposed to solve the counter intuitive problem of the Dempster rule. It firstly classifies the evidences according to decision making; then, const ructs evidence importance degree and evidence relia bility models as the discounting factors for evidences wit h different conflict degrees within the same class or between classes; finally, combines the evidences by the Dem pster’s rule. The experimental analysis shows that the method is reasonable.
