Approximation of common solutions for variational inequalities and fixed point of strict pseudo-contractions in q-uniformly smooth Banach spaces

Abstract In the present paper, we introduce a general iterative algorithm for finding a common element of the set of common fixed points of an infinite family of strict pseudo-contractions and the set of solutions of the variational inequalities for finite family of strongly accretive mappings in a q-uniformly smooth Banach space. Furthermore, we prove strong convergence of the iterative sequence under suitable conditions. Our results generalize some recent results.
