Algorithm of exposed terminals concurrent transmission based on reverse path in MANET

The problem of exposed terminals in AD Hoc results in wireless channel resource being wasted, which limits the network capability severely. By comparing with most solutions of this problem, we give new descriptions of exposed terminals and the exposed receive terminals. Then a concurrent transmission algorithm based on reverse path of route is proposed. By simulation we analyze the capacity of the new method and evaluate the influence of different parameters. The Simulation results show that compared with DCF, DCF with RPE improves the network throughput greatly with moderately low overhead.
