Abstracl.A description of a Turing machine simulator, programmed on the IBM 1620, is given.As in the papers by Wang and Lee, Turing machines are represented as programs for a computer.Allowance has been made for the usage of subroutines in the programming language.Also included are some remarks about writing a Universal Turing Machine Program and some experimental evidenee that the state-symbol product is not the only inca.sure of complexity of a Turing machine.
