Feedback-induced congruences in controlled sequential machines
Peter J. Ramadge, Walter Murray Wonham · 1981
This paper examines several algebraic properties of controlled sequential machines. We concentrate on the decomposition of controlled sequential machines using feedback-induced congruences. Two special classes of feedback congruences are introduced and shown to form join subsemilattices of the lattice of state set partitions. The results are applied to the problem of disturbance decoupling.
