CSAP for packet radio networks-a new concurrent slot assignment protocol
Andreas Mann, Johannes Rückert · 8th European Conference on Electrotechnics, Conference Proceedings on Area Communication · 2003
CSAP (concurrent slot assignment protocol) is proposed to perform concurrent slot assignment, assuming high but limited mobility of the communicating stations. A performance analysis is presented, showing that the protocol achieves fast channel reassignment. The analysis is limited to the heavy traffic assumption (each station wants to transmit continuously), and only one-hop data transmissions were taken into account. The protocol guarantees anonymity to all stations, as neither names nor addresses are needed to assign channels.>
