Optimal linear control of linear production-inventory systems

Gerard J. C. Gaalman · International Journal of Systems Science · 1976

Modern control theoretical principles are used to derive necessary conditions for the optimal linear control of a general linear production-inventory system with non-linear costs per period. The main assumptions are stationary normal distribution of all random"variables and optimization of the average expected costs per period.
