Design and implementation of AAC decoders
Mark A. Watson, P. Buettner · IEEE Transactions on Consumer Electronics · 2000
The MPEG-2 AAC (Advanced Audio Coding) is a high-quality perceptual audio coder with flexible configurations enabling its use in many applications where high audio quality and limited transmission channel bandwidth are required. This paper provides a technology overview and describes the design and implementation of a reference AAC decoder.
