Klumpenhouwer Networks and Some Isographies That Involve Them
David A. Lewin · Music Theory Spectrum · 1990
Networks involving T and I operations are useful for interpreting pc-sets, and for other purposes. Certain groups of isographies among such networks, being isomorphic to the T/I group itself, are particularly interesting. A T/I network can interpret one chord within a progression, while an isographic network can interpret an interrelation among the several (interpreted) chords of that progression as a whole. A variety of interpretations is possible at each level, posing challenges for analysis.
