Parallel Implementation of the Trellises for Linear Block Codes

In this paper, we investigate the parallel implementation of the trellises of linear block codes by using the squaring construction, which is a method for constructing long codes from a given partition of short codes. The trellis structure of this code is composed of several parallel sections and is more suitable for IC implementation than traditional trellis construction.
