XQUBE : A Visual Language for XQuery Construction from Interaction and Examples

Junpei Tsutsui, Hiroki Arimura · IPSJ SIG Notes · 2008

This paper studies visual languages for interactive construction and editting of XQuery. We present a tree pattern-like representation TQ by extending Braga et al.'s XQBE (TODS, 30:2, 2005), and then give its visual language counterpart XQUBE. Furthermore, we show that these two representations are equivalent to a restricted fragment of XQuery called TQ-XQuery that has for, child-axis paths, concatenation constructions, but does not have let, if/where constructions, and arbitrary compsition.
