Research on the Issues of Internet-Based Digital Copyrights

In the background of Internet, social subjects could access information they need in a very low cost. Once being put into Internet, The works protected by the traditional copyright law have a new means of communication and the accession to original cultural products is changed dramatically. The further development of information technology breaks the existing balance of interests, which triggers off the problems such as fair use, freedom of expression, protection of privacy and so on. Therefore, some targeted countermeasures must be taken in the area of the protection of copyright to resolve the difficulties brought by the internet in the dimension of the rule of law, the digital rights management(DRM) and the social awareness.
