Association rule mining and application in intelligent transportation system

An association rule mining algorithm called FP-Growth can help to mine frequent itemsets and derive interesting rules. An implementation of this algorithm and its application in intelligent transportation system are presented. Experimental results show that the algorithm can provide effective decision support for traffic management.
